Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and keeping the story going

I love the song and this Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star book, a gift from a friend,  recently made us both smile. I love that the story can be read in a tune like the song Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, and that the journey with the little star involves visiting space and seeing the planets.

Since the illustrations involve space and I could use the awesome NASA app for the iPad after we read and had fun sharing with Phoenix the image of Saturn after we saw the illustration of Saturn in the book.

Include in your reading sessions expanding the details of the story with how they relate to your child's life or elements that show up in other aspects in their day. If your reading and a certain  color shows up, include the painting on your wall, your child's shirt to wear that day, etc. keep the story going!
